VMware VCP-VCF Administrator (2V0-17.25) Certification Training Course
Build the private cloud skills employers need with Accumentum’s VMware VCP-VCF Administrator Certification Training Course, developed to help you install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot a VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 solution.
Master VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 administration.
This course replaces Accumentum’s former vSphere v7.0 and vSphere v8.0 courses. VMware by Broadcom has retired the vSphere 7 exams and the VCP-DCV certification, and the current administrator credential for full private cloud environments is the VMware Certified Professional VMware Cloud Foundation Administrator (VCP-VCF Administrator), earned by passing exam 2V0-17.25. The VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0 Administrator exam covers VCF fundamentals plus deploying, configuring, and operating VCF. You work through compute with vCenter and ESX, storage with vSAN, networking with NSX, identity with VCF Identity Broker, automation with VCF Automation and vSphere Supervisor, and day two operations with VCF Operations, VCF Operations for Logs, VCF Operations for Networks, VCF Fleet Management, and VCF Operations HCX. If your environment runs standalone vSphere rather than the full VCF stack, ask us about the related VCP-VVF Administrator path (exam 2V0-16.25). You leave ready to sit the VCP-VCF Administrator exam and to run VCF environments with confidence.

Broadcom recommends two courses, VMware Cloud Foundation: Build, Manage, and Secure and VMware Cloud Foundation: Automation and Operations. Item writers also use the VCF 9.0 documentation at techdocs.broadcom.com, so we study the 9.0 release notes too.
Retakes, validity and vouchers.
Broadcom's retake policy requires you to wait seven (7) days between attempts.
All VCF certifications are valid for three (3) years from the issue date.
Vouchers can be bought through the Broadcom website under Education Services or through VCF Education Delivery Partners.
How we prepare you for 2V0-17.25.
We start with Section 2 fundamentals: private cloud vision, then compute with vCenter and ESX, then vSAN storage and VCF networking.
Next we move to Objective 4.1 and deploy VCF end to end, including workload domains, workload domain storage and Supervisor.
Then we cover Objective 4.2, the management tasks like RBAC, licenses, certificates, passwords, vCenter import and lifecycle.
After that comes Objective 4.3, the longest list at 14 statements, so VCF Operations dashboards, alerts, logs and policies get a lot of lab time.
We wrap up with Objective 4.4 on VCF Automation and a final week of timed 60-item practice at the real pace.
Where VCP-VCF can take you.
VCP-VCF Administrator fits people who run private cloud infrastructure, so we use the closest BLS occupation as a reference.
For a sense of pay, BLS puts the May 2025 median annual wage for network and computer systems administrators at $99,130. That figure is a national midpoint. Where you live, how long you have been in the field and who you work for all move the number. Source: BLS Occupational Outlook Handbook.
