Eligible Soldiers may receive up to $2,000 per fiscal year for 1 credential. Officers are ineligible as of 19 Mar 2026 (ALARACT 102/2025). Requests go through ArmyIgnitED and Army COOL.
Army CA →Eligible Air and Space professionals may receive a maximum of $4,500 lifetime under AF COOL—not a per-year or per-fiscal-year amount. Eligibility is determined through AFVEC and official AF COOL guidance.
AF COOL →A career-focused scholarship pathway for eligible military spouses pursuing portable credentials in cybersecurity, IT, cloud, project management, HR, data, and AI. Confirm eligibility in the official SpouseWorks portal before applying.
