Certification PathKey™

One plain-language guide per certification we teach. Each guide walks through the exam domains and weights, the format and cost, the experience and renewal rules, and the roles the credential is hired for. Read the guide, take a free ReadyScore™ where we have one, then decide on training.

Guide, then ReadyScore™, then train

  1. Read the guide

Ten minutes tells you what the exam covers, how it is weighted, what it costs, and whether you meet the experience rules.

  2. Take ReadyScore™

Where we have one, the guide links to a free readiness check timed to the real domains so you see the gaps before you spend.

  3. Decide on training

If the gap is small, self-study may be enough. If it is not, or you need the credential by a date, the course linked from every guide covers the same domains in an Expert-led format with PathPay® options.

Why read the guide first?

Most people pick a certification on a name they have heard, then find out what the exam actually expects a few weeks into studying.

  • The domains are the syllabus. Every vendor publishes an outline with weights, and the exam follows it closely. Knowing that one domain is a third of the exam changes how you spend study time.
  • The rules decide if you qualify. CISSP wants five years of experience. Security+ wants none to sit. PMP needs education hours plus project experience. The guide spells out the rules so you do not book an exam you cannot yet be awarded.
  • Versions change. Security+ is moving toward SY0-801, CISM is updating its outline, and CISSP gets a new outline in April 2027. Each guide says which version it describes and what is coming.

Certification PathKey™ questions

What is on these certification guide pages?

Each live guide covers one certification end to end: what the credential is and who issues it, every exam domain with its weight, the exam format and cost, the experience and renewal rules, and the jobs people hold with it. Where a vendor has announced a change, the guide says what is changing and when.

Are the exam objectives current?

Yes. Each published guide is written to the current published exam outline and lists the exam code or version it describes. Always confirm against the official outline linked from the guide before you register.

Are these official vendor materials?

No. The guides are written by Accumentum from each vendor's published exam outline and candidate information. They are not vendor documents and are not a substitute for the official exam outline. Where we are an authorized training partner (CompTIA and AWS today), the guide says so.

How do the guides relate to Accumentum courses?

The guide tells you what the exam expects. The course teaches it in an Expert-led format, with PathPay® and military funding options where they apply. Every live guide links to the matching course page.
