Prerequisites

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or global equivalent)
  • 21 contact hours of training in agile practices (fulfilled by completing this Accumentum course)
  • 12 months (1,500 hours) of general project experience within the last 5 years OR an active PMP®/PgMP® credential (waives the general project experience requirement)
  • 8 months (2,000 hours) of agile project experience within the last 3 years (gained by working on agile teams or in agile environments; this experience is NOT waived by holding PMP®/PgMP®)

  • Use root cause analysis (Five Whys, Fishbone) in retrospectives
  • Implement proactive risk management and rapid issue resolution techniques
Continuous Improvement (Process, Product, People)
  • Conduct effective retrospectives using various formats (Start-Stop-Continue, Sailboat, etc.)
  • Implement process tailoring and continuous improvement through Kaizen
  • Measure and improve product quality using Definition of Done, technical debt reduction, and refactoring
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and knowledge sharing
Scrum Framework
  • Deep dive into Scrum roles (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Development Team), events, and artifacts
