What the Platform Administrator Course Covers
Salesforce admins keep the org running. They set up users and security, shape objects and page layouts, build automation and give leaders the reports they need. The exam checks all of that across eight weighted sections.
Data and Analytics Management is the largest section at 17%. Configuration and Setup, Object Manager and Lightning App Builder, and Automation are each 15%. We give those four the most time, with hands-on work in a Salesforce org every session.
Sales and Marketing Applications, Service and Support Applications, and Productivity and Collaboration are each 10%, and Agentforce is 8%. Agentforce is new to the outline, so we show you how to set up an agent, write prompt templates and protect data with the Einstein Trust Layer.
Every question in the outline starts with a business need. We teach you to read the scenario, pick the feature that fits and rule out the ones that don't, which is how the exam is written.

Per the official exam guide, the Platform Administrator exam has 60 multiple choice and multiple select questions plus up to 5 unscored questions, and you get 105 minutes. The passing score is 68%, and the exam is based on the Summer '25 release. Registration is $200 plus applicable taxes, and a retake is $100. You can test onsite at a testing center or online with a proctor, and no hard copy or online references are allowed.
There is no prerequisite. Salesforce recommends at least 6 months of hands-on experience as a Salesforce administrator. To keep the credential, you complete an annual maintenance module on Trailhead. Exam vouchers remain separate from our tuition unless otherwise noted.
