SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst (DAA-C01) DAA-C01 Exam Readiness
Accumentum’s SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst (DAA-C01) training prepares learners for the official Snowflake DAA-C01 certification pathway ($375 USD per attempt).

Upon completing Accumentum’s SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst (DAA-C01) Certification Training Course, you will be prepared to schedule the official Snowflake DAA-C01 exam ($375 per attempt). The SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst Certification Exam validates advanced knowledge and skills used to apply comprehensive data analysis principles using Snowflake and its components.
Snowflake lists the DAA-C01 exam at 65 questions in 115 minutes. Question types are multiple select, multiple choice and interactive. The exam is offered in English, and you can take it online with a proctor or at a testing center.
The passing score is 750 on a scaled score from 0 to 1000. Snowflake notes that an exam may include unscored items used to gather statistics. They aren't marked, they don't count toward your score, and Snowflake builds in extra time for them.
The published domain weights are 1.0 Data Ingestion and Data Preparation (17%), 2.0 Data Transformation and Data Modeling (23%), 3.0 Data Analysis (32%), 4.0 Data Presentation and Data Visualization (28%).
Registration is $375 per attempt. Snowflake lists SnowPro Core certification as a prerequisite for this exam.
Snowflake is retiring the SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst exam effective December 1, 2026. All exams must be completed by that date, and exams scheduled after it won't be available. If you already hold the credential, Snowflake says it stays active for two years from the date you earned it. Snowflake recommends SnowPro Core for candidates going forward. Plan your class dates with the retirement in mind, and talk with us if you're deciding between this course and Core.
Data Analyst fits analysts and analytics engineers who write advanced SQL in Snowflake and present results to the business. For a pay reference, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics puts the May 2025 median annual wage for database administrators and architects at $126,760. That is a national midpoint, and location, experience and employer all move it. Source: BLS Occupational Outlook Handbook.
Paying on your own? This course is eligible for PathPay, our monthly payment plan. Terms of 3, 4 and 6 months carry no added fee. 9, 12 and 18 month terms add 5%, 10% and 15%. Questions about funding or class dates? Email info@accumentum.net.
Snowflake describes the SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst exam as one that tests your ability to prepare and load data, perform simple data transformations for data analysis, build and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries in Snowflake, use Snowflake built-in functions and create User-Defined Functions (UDFs), perform descriptive and diagnostic data analyses, perform predictive data analysis and prepare and present data to meet business requirements. Those are Snowflake's own words, and our lessons are built around each of them.
On the candidate side, Snowflake says: 1 or more years of hands-on practical experience with Snowflake as a Data Analyst in a production environment. In addition, successful candidates may have fluency with advanced SQL and knowledge of an additional computer language. If you're short of that, tell us before class and we'll suggest where to start.
The $375 fee is the standard U.S. price. Snowflake charges $300 for candidates testing in India, and the fee applies to every attempt, retakes included. Snowflake doesn't offer free retakes or discounted retakes.
Snowflake allows a maximum of four attempts at the same exam within any 12 months. You also have to wait 7 days between attempts, even before your first retake.
Need to move your date? Snowflake allows rescheduling until 24 hours before a test center slot, and until the start time for an online exam, up to four times. A no-show forfeits the fee or voucher, so put the date somewhere you'll see it.
Snowflake delivers exams through Pearson VUE, either online with OnVUE or at a Pearson VUE center. Online, you use your own computer, webcam and a stable connection, and you can't leave for a break. At a center you can step out, though exam time keeps counting. Test aids aren't allowed in either setting. Bring an unexpired government-issued photo ID with a signature that exactly matches the name on your certification account.
Your score report lands in your Pearson VUE candidate account, not the Snowflake portal, and it points to objectives worth reviewing. If you pass, expect an Accredible email with your badge within 5 business days. If you don't, Snowflake suggests using the 7 day wait to work on the areas the report flags.
Snowflake recommends a mix of hands-on experience, expert-led training and self-study for DAA-C01. The items it lists for this exam are Snowflake Data Analyst Training and SnowPro Practice Exam: Data Analyst. Snowflake's practice exams cost $50 and run 65 minutes. They follow the live exam's domain weights, there's no pass or fail, and the report shows where you missed questions. You have 24 hours from purchase to start one, and the timer can't be paused.
Our study plan follows Snowflake's weights so your time goes where the points are. Class opens with domain 1.0, Data Ingestion and Data Preparation, which is 17% of the exam. Then we move to Data Transformation and Data Modeling, worth 23%. After that we take Data Analysis (3.0). At 32%, it's the heaviest domain, so it gets the most labs and practice questions. We close with Data Presentation and Data Visualization, worth 28%. Every domain wraps with practice items written to the blueprint, then we go over the misses together.
Renewal works through Snowflake's Continuing Education program. You can renew SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst by completing one eligible Snowflake expert-led course or by earning an equivalent or higher-level SnowPro certification. Either one extends the credential two years from the completion or pass date, and it has to happen on or before your expiration date. Only ILT courses completed after June 9, 2025 count. For this certification, Snowflake lists these certification options: SnowPro Advanced: Administrator, SnowPro Advanced: Architect, SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst, SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer, SnowPro Advanced: Data Scientist, SnowPro Advanced: Security Engineer and SnowPro Advanced: MLOps Engineer. The eligible ILT courses it lists are Administering Snowflake, Administering Snowflake II, Snowflake Advanced, Snowflake Advanced Analytics, Snowflake Architect, Snowflake Data Engineer, Snowflake Data Engineer II, Snowflake Data Governance, Snowflake Data Science, Snowflake Gen AI, Snowflake Native App Framework, Snowflake Performance Automation and Tuning (3 Day), Snowflake Python Data Engineering, Snowflake Security Training, Snowflake Snowpark Application Developer, Snowflake Snowpark Container Services and Snowflake Snowpark DataFrame Programming.
Other SnowPro courses we teach: SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced: Administrator, SnowPro Advanced: Architect, SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer and SnowPro Specialty: Gen AI. Core is the prerequisite for every Advanced exam, so many students take it first.
