HRCI Associate Professional in Human Resources International (aPHRi) Certification Training Course
We'll get you ready for the HRCI aPHRi exam, the international version of the aPHR for people starting out in HR roles outside the United States.
What the aPHRi Course Covers
HRCI describes the aPHRi as a entry level credential. The exam covers 5 functional areas, and HR Operations carries the most weight at 33%, so we give it the most class time.
Our instructor-led class follows the official aPHRi exam content outline area by area, with practice questions written in the scenario style HRCI uses. We also walk you through the application, the testing ID and booking with Pearson VUE.
The aPHRi is the international version of the aPHR, written for people starting HR work outside the United States. It focuses on HR principles that apply across countries rather than U.S. employment law.
HRCI also offers the aPHRi in Arabic. We teach in English and build examples from multinational and regional employers so the material makes sense wherever you work.
Accumentum is an independent training provider. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by HRCI, and this isn't official HRCI training. HRCI sets exam content, fees and policies, so check hrci.org before you apply.

Where the aPHRi Can Take You
The aPHRi helps people break into HR roles abroad and shows employers in any country that you understand the foundations of HR practice.
Many people who start with the aPHRi go on to the PHRi once they have a few years of professional HR work behind them, and later the SPHRi or GPHR as their scope grows across borders. We map that path with you on day one so the aPHRi is a first step, not a dead end.
Because the aPHRi is knowledge based and needs no HR experience, it also suits career changers. Office managers, team leads and administrators who already handle people issues can use it to show an employer they understand recruiting, onboarding, employee relations and HR records.
Service members and military spouses stationed overseas often ask us about the aPHRi. It lets you start building an HR record while you're abroad, and we can talk through funding options before you enroll.
HR Assistant
Supports HR administration in an international office.
HR Officer
Handles recruitment, records and employee queries.
People Operations Coordinator
Runs onboarding and HR processes for a regional team.
Line Manager
Manages people without a dedicated HR background.
How We Prepare You for the aPHRi
We focus on global HR principles and how they adapt to local practice. You won't spend time on U.S. law that the aPHRi doesn't test.
You'll get a plan by functional area, practice questions after each module and a full practice exam before you book.
Our class follows the HRCI exam content outline area by area. We start with the area that carries the most weight, then work through the rest with short reviews so earlier topics stay fresh. Each session ends with questions written in the same style as the real exam.
We also show you how to read a question the way HRCI writes it. Many items ask for the best first step, so we practice ruling out answers that are true but not the most useful in that situation.
Global Principles
HR foundations that apply across countries.
Local Context
How to apply those principles where you work.
Practice Sets
Questions after each area and a full practice exam.
Booking Help
Support with the HRCI application and Pearson VUE scheduling.
