Certified Sustainable Project Professional (CSPP)™ Training Course
Prepare for the PMI Certified Sustainable Project Professional (CSPP)™ for Practitioners exam and learn to deliver projects that create environmental, social, and economic value.
What our CSPP course prepares you to do.
Sponsors now ask what a project does for people and the planet, not only whether it finished on time. Our CSPP training course is for certified project professionals who want to answer that question with real tools.
PMI describes the CSPP for Practitioners as helping experienced project professionals embed sustainability into delivery, lead resilient projects, and drive business value. It is grounded in the P5™ Standard and aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We follow the five exam areas PMI publishes: Foundations of Sustainable Project Work 18%, the PRiSM Life Cycle Approach 18%, the P5 Standard for Sustainability and Impact Analysis 36%, Developing a Sustainability Management Plan 18%, and ESG and Sustainability Reporting, Governance, and Project Communications 11%.
PMI requires 12 hours of formal education related to sustainability in project management. PMI’s CSPP bundle includes an exam prep course that meets this requirement. Check with PMI before you rely on any other course for those hours.

How we pace the CSPP course.
Our CSPP course has 5 modules, one for each PMI domain. P5 Standard: Sustainability and Impact Analysis is the largest domain at 36% of the exam, so it gets the most class time and practice.
Plan on steady weekly study between sessions. Read ahead in the PMI references, connect each topic to your own work, and bring real examples to class. In the final sessions we review weak spots domain by domain so you go into the exam with a clear plan.
CSPP career outlook and pay data.
Sustainability has moved from a side project to a board level priority, and project teams are where those goals get delivered. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports a median annual wage of $102,320 for project management specialists in May 2025 and projects 7 percent growth from 2025 to 2035. CSPP adds a skill most project managers do not have yet, which is building environmental, social and governance thinking into every phase of the work.
Our domain by domain CSPP study plan.
We follow the weights PMI publishes for the CSPP exam, so the domains that count most get the most class time. Here is how we break it down.
Step 1
Foundations of Sustainable Project Work is 18 percent. We start with the vocabulary, the business case for sustainability and how it changes the project manager's role.
Step 2
The PRiSM Life Cycle Approach is 18 percent. We walk through PRiSM phases and how sustainability checks fit into each one.
Step 3
P5 Standard Sustainability and Impact Analysis is the largest domain at 36 percent. We spend the most time here, working through people, planet, prosperity, process and product impacts on realistic projects.
Step 4
Developing a Sustainability Management Plan is 18 percent and ESG Reporting, Governance and Communications is 11 percent. We build a sample plan and practice reporting results the way stakeholders expect.
Mistakes we help CSPP candidates avoid.
Many candidates know general sustainability ideas but have never used the P5 standard in detail. That domain is more than a third of the exam, so we drill it hard. The other gap is eligibility. CSPP expects an existing credential such as CAPM or PMP, or a qualifying master's degree, plus 12 hours of sustainability education, so we help you confirm you qualify before you book.
In the last sessions we run timed practice, review every weak domain and build a short plan for the final two weeks before your exam date.

Not sure you qualify? Email us at info@accumentum.net and we will walk through it with you.
How we make CSPP practical.
During the course you apply the P5 impact analysis to a sample project from start to finish. You look at people, planet, prosperity, process and product, score the impacts and build a short sustainability management plan you could take back to work.
