What's New at Accumentum: PathPay, PathPass, PathLock and New Courses

Three new programs, a course calendar with real start dates, and a lot of new courses. Here's what each one does and where to find it.

If you haven't been on accumentum.net in a while, a lot has changed. PathPay lets you start a course now and pay for it monthly. PathPass is our exam prep app. PathLock helps you keep a certification current after you pass. We also launched a course calendar with real start dates, and the catalog now includes Claude, Snowflake, GitHub and more.

Here's how each one works, in the order most students use them.

Pay over time

Start training now. Pay over time.

PathPay: start a course now and pay monthly

PathPay is a personal payment plan for a single course. You pick an eligible Accumentum course and choose a 3, 4, 6, 9, 12 or 18 month schedule. You get full access to the course materials once the first payment clears, and the rest of the payments run automatically on the same day each month.

Plans of 3 to 6 months are at the base course price. Longer terms add a modest premium. You get the same course you'd get paying in full, and most plans let you pay off the balance early. PathPay® is a payment plan, not a loan.

Exam prep app

Practice the exam you'll actually sit.

PathPass: practice in the real exam format

PathPass is our exam prep app. The questions are original, written to the live exam blueprint, and the banks are updated every week. It covers the full Accumentum technology catalog plus healthcare, finance and accounting, real estate, insurance licensing, and trades and contractors.

It's live as a web app and on the Apple App Store, and Google Play is coming soon. When you enroll in a course or a PathPay plan, you get that exam's question bank automatically. On your own, it's $19 a month for one exam or $39 a month for every bank.

Not sure you're ready to book? The free Exam Readiness Score is 20 questions. You get a Ready, Almost or Not yet result and a 14-day focus plan. Our article on what each result means walks through it.

After you pass

Keep the credential you just earned.

PathLock: keep your certifications current

PathLock is our credential membership. It gives you monthly hours, short labs and a renewal calendar, so the certifications you earned stay current instead of expiring. It works for certs you earned with us or already hold.

Credential lockerRenewal dates, cycle status and activity history for the certs on your resume.
Monthly lock packHours and short activities mapped to your domains.
Lab laneHands-on, time-boxed labs that fit a working week.
Blueprint watchAlerts when exam blueprints or CE rules shift.

You report your hours to your credentialing body, and PathLock gives you the Accumentum activity record. It isn't official vendor CPE, CE or PDU pre-approval.

New course calendar

See every upcoming start date in one place

The course calendar lists upcoming start dates for our scheduled courses. You can filter by course, vendor or month and register for a start straight from the listing.

Security+, PMP, CAPM, CISSP, CompTIA A+, and the AWS Cloud and AI Practitioner courses start every 2 to 3 weeks. Most other courses start about once a month. No classes start during Thanksgiving week or from Dec 21 to Jan 1. Every class is on-demand and self-paced, so you work through it on your own time.

These seven courses were just added to the calendar:

New in the catalog

New courses, grouped by vendor

We've added a lot of courses over the past few months. These are the newest. Tap any course for its outline and exam details.

Two new courses for Teams administrators and the engineers who run Teams Phone, meetings and Teams Rooms.

ISACA, ServiceNow and CompTIA

Browse every course

AAISM is for active CISM and CISSP holders, and AAIA is for active CISA holders and other qualified auditors. Security+ V8 prepares you for SY0-801, which CompTIA expects around November 17, 2026.

Paying for training

Three ways to pay

PathPay is one option. You can also use employer training funds, and if you're serving, military funding may cover your course. Accumentum is an Army CA and Air Force COOL Approved Vendor. Our Army CA and Air Force COOL pages explain how each one works, and the funding page covers the rest.

98.8%

Since August 2022, 2,405 Accumentum students have certified out of about 2,435 attempts, a 98.8% pass rate.
